After nearly $5k to another local Landscaping Co, C&H (Clay in particular) came to my home and evaluated my needs. Everything the previous company suggested ( which I paid for but never worked) was addressed. “Last summer C&H gave us an estimate to replace a rear drain on our home, fix part of our chain link fence, and to re-swale our property. Their estimate was very reasonable so we hired them to perform the work. They did excellent work. We had issues prior to the work with water getting in our basement. Our basement is dry tonight even after today’s downpour. We are very pleased with their work.” 
“Unless you like to be frustrated with errors in when they will and won’t come cut your grass as well as the quality of what they do even after you’ve given them specific instructions, you should avoid this company. For many months now I’ve tried to discuss things with them and hope for improvement and while some things did improve (actually cutting my lawn with a lawnmower rather than using a weed wacker until nothing but dirt was left!) many others didn’t. I don’t mean to be insulting, but this is not brain surgery and it really shouldn’t be this problematic.” Dawne D. Dawne, thank you for taking the time to let us know your concerns. We are unable to mow your back lawn with a mower because we can not fit through your gate. I believe we discussed that with you on our consultation. We would be happy to meet with you again and try to come up with another solution to mowing. Planting native perennials or grasses may be a better solution for that difficult mowing area.
“We had Clay and his team clean up our flower beds (remove shrubs, thick ground cover, old mulch) and install a stone border with river rocks inside. And we are very pleased with the results! Arranging an estimate was a quick process, and his team was definitely very skilled. They arrived on time, and cleaned the worksite well upon completion. Communication while ironing out the finer details was sometimes on a delay, but perhaps it is because it is a family-operated business? Regardless, we’d definitely suffer through the lag again, if only because they did such a great job.”
